Melanie Parry comes from a very small town in Wyoming and obtained her Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2005. She became interested in teaching Spanish while serving a Spanish speaking mission in 1998-2000. She has taught beginning and intermediate Spanish at a wide variety of universities and community colleges. She has also been involved with clubs and students organizations for Hispanics. Her teaching interests include anything to do with the Andean countries, 19th century Latin American literature, and language related pedagogy.
