Program Information
- Program costs include all travel, the cultural tour and meals, homestay and meals in Cuernavaca, books and fees. Costs do not include TAMU tuition, documentation fees (e.g. passport and photos), and personal expenses.
- Students enroll in SPAN 221 and 222 at TAMU, which transfer to TAMU SPAN 201 and 202, unless you are a Spanish major. See the advisor in your department or college if you have questions about how and where the credits will fit into your degree plan. Grades are determined by the Coordinator solely on the basis of your academic performance in Mexico. Some exceptions apply.
- TAMU requires that all participants complete SPAN 101 and SPAN 102 (or equivalent) with a grade of "B" or better. Exceptions can be made on an individual basis at the discretion of the Coordinator.
- TAMU requires that all participants complete MODL 260 (1 credit) during the Spring Semester 2008, which serves as an orientation to the program and to Mexico.
- This is a homestay program. Participants will be placed with families during their stay in Mexico.
